Nico Matagne a.k.a $ticky is an artist based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. After having travelled and lived in over 12 countries around the world $ticky began freestyling with a small group of friends when living in Geneva, Switzerland. After what had started as just an activity between friends, $ticky began to bring his work to recording studio's in France, Belgium, Switzerland and now The Netherlands.
$ticky has many influences as he has been listening to R&B and Hip Hop since before he can remember. $ticky is mainly inspired by the biggest names in Hip Hop like J Cole, Travis Scott, Wu-Tang Clan and Rick Ross. With a passion for music and a culturally international background, $ticky is always supporting underground or upcoming artists with a goal to globalize hip hop even further.
