Cubanito 20.02, also known as Cubanito, is a Cuban reggaeton/cubaton band formed in 2002 by Haniel Gonzalez Martinez, Javier Duran Webb, and José Angel Sastre Perez. The members originally performed as hip-hop artists under the name Primera Base, gaining early recognition at the Havana Rap Festival in 1995. Their transition to Cubanito 20.02 marked a shift from hip-hop to reggaeton, with an early hit single "Matame" helping establish their new sound, influenced in part by Jamaican ragga. The group released their debut album Soy Cubanito in 2003, followed by Tócame in 2005, Los Jíbaros in 2008, and My World in 2012.
