Alain François Roux, known professionally as François Corbier, was a French singer-songwriter, poet, and television presenter. He began his career as a singer and musician, performing in cabarets on the Left Bank of Paris. In 1968, he released his first record produced by Alain Barrière. From 1982 to 1997, Corbier gained popularity as a singer and television host on French youth programs Récré A2 and Club Dorothée. His notable songs from this period include "Les rois mages" and the hit single "Le Nez de Dorothée," which became a cult classic. After leaving television, Corbier faced personal challenges but resumed his music career in 2001 with albums such as Carnet mondain (2001), Toi, Ma Guitare et Moi (2003), and Tout Pour Être Heureux (2006). François Corbier passed away on July 1, 2018.
