The best time to be your authentic self is now.
AZSH (ăsh), Miami-based Pop music artist, came from “Kentuckiana” and a musical family to pursue a career as an artist. While it was never her plan to stay in Florida, she eventually became a full-time singer and performer in the Miami area with weekly live residencies. She worked her way up through hospitality and special event production to make the transition. Recording original music since 2007, her songwriting content and her life has progressed from broken relationships and heart break, to freedom, energy and fun.
The new single, "Mood," is the first release from her debut EP due January 2022. "It has some Latin spice with American Pop vibes," she says, attributing the sound to her co-collaborator, and Latin Grammy nominated producer, Luis "The Dro1dz" Salazar. The two met at the South Florida Music Showcase in 2017, where AZSH (then Ashley Christine), was performing and Salazar was serving as industry A&R. Salazar is currently signed to Warner Chappell, and works with major labels and artists such as Sebastian Yatra, Luis Fonsi, and Aitana. Mood is one of three songs produced by Salazar on the upcoming EP.
AZSH got her first ripple of success from her most recent collaboration with Miami-based dotdotdot records, who generated three remixes of her song "Feel the Love." One remix was done by Eric Kupper, who is well known in the house music scene (the others Jerome Drouot's Nostalgia Mix and SONIKSSP). The Eric Kupper remix was added to playlists such as Fresh House Friday - Defected, Soulful House 2021, peaked at #9 on "Traxsource Top 100," made 11 iTunes Charts, with listeners in 45 countries and more than 1,000 Shazams.
