Ink Midget’s production aims towards blending bedroom based electronics with hip-hop infected side of contemporary bass music continuum. Incorporating juke riddims, mutated hip-hop beats (/trap) he is able to create über-cinetic compositions of very specific mood. Despite working within rhythm pallete of relatively strict boarders, his full-lenght debut ‘Re-Leave’ (2012) extends it’s sound far beyond it. Subtle noisy effect, acoustic instruments and brief use of field-recordings are keeping everything of his own. Driven by ecstatic synth motives and love for bass heavy breaks Ink Midget’s live-acts pulses with both conceptual and club oriented potential.
