Pullman, an American musical group from Chicago, was formed in 1997 by Ken Brown, Curtis Harvey, Chris Brokaw, and Doug McCombs. The band began as a collaboration between members of various rock bands, with Brown and Harvey initiating the project during recording sessions for other albums. Pullman released their debut album, Turnstyles & Junkpiles, on August 7, 1998, through Thrill Jockey. Their second and final album, Viewfinder, was released on August 21, 2001, also via Thrill Jockey. The band’s lineup expanded to include drummer Tim Barnes for this release. Pullman disbanded in 2002.
