MERJ is a self-taught Canadian artist with a love for electronic music and the vast creative freedom that comes with it. After taking up music production as a hobby, he’s found a home in the electronic genres of techno, psytrance, and dubstep, but his tracks never perfectly fit within a single genre. Sound design is his current obsession, as he enjoys tinkering with synthesizers to discover new unique and fascinating sounds. Most of his tracks begin with those sounds, rather than a melody, that spark the imagination to create something bigger.
