Sault

Sault (often stylised as SAULT) emerged in 2019 and quickly became the enigmatic UK band on everyone's lips. A mysterious collective steered by producer Dean Josiah Cover, aka Inflo, the group's prolific output conceived five studio albums in the first three years of their existence: 5 and 7 (2019), Untitled (Black Is), Untitled (Rise) (2020)—nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2021—and Nine (2021). An orchestral instrumental album, Air, followed in 2022 along with another surprise four albums that same year, including Untitled (God). Spanning the legacy of Black music, the soul-meets-R&B-meets-gospel collective boasts members in vocalist/songwriter Cleo Soul and counts stars such as Little Simz, Michael Kiwanuka, and Jack Peñate among their collaborators. In 2023, Sault were named Best R&B/Soul Act at the MOBO Awards while also winning the Ivor Novello Award for Best Album (11). In January 2024, a collaboration with André 3000 was revealed to be on the way while a new album of spiritual music, Acts of Faith, saw the light that year, supported by the lead single "Pray For Me," which made it into the UK's Top 100 Singles Sales Official chart. The group's twelfth studio album, 10, was released in 2025 via the band's own Forever Living Originals.
