New album The Stronger the Wind on November 22, 2024
A bit of biology in a band bio : the stubborn trees are this type of trees that grow wherever they want, crossing every obstacle in their way and cross the obstacles blocking their way.
This is, in substance, what Stubborn Trees songs are about : move forward, regret nothing, holding steady...
Following a self-titled debut EP with a wide range of influences (Nirvana, Silverchair, Pixies, Highly Suspect, Filter, Stuck in The Sound), Roots, Stubborn Trees' second EP, was released on November 12, 2021. The EP received good press and media reviews (Rolling Stone, Rock & Folk, Longueur d'Ondes... ) and enabled the band to perform on some fifteen stages in the Hauts-de-France and Ile-de-France regions (La Lune des Pirates and Taverne Elektrik in Amiens, La Grange à Musique in Creil, Festival des Zicophonies in Clermont de l'Oise, Berzyk Festival and Le Petit Troquet in Aisne, Les Scènes/Ourcq, La Dame de Canton, Supersonic, Forum de Vauréal, Olympic Café, Covent Garden...).
The Stubborns got back behind the camera to illustrate firstly the single Carpe Diem with an ambitious and noticed clip, then the second single, What You Want, with a 100% home-made clip, as they know so well how to do! Finally, What's Left was filmed in September 2023, in a post-apocalyptic rock universe that further illustrates the band's ecological commitment.
The Stubborn Trees' debut album will be released on November 22, 2024 and preceded by 2 singles released on September 6 and October 18, 2024.
