Mono Town is a three piece band from Reykjavik who have spent the past year honing their craft to produce an extraordinary collection of songs which has culminated, in their soon to be released debut album, ‘In The Eye Of The Storm’. The self-produced album was recorded in Reykjavik and then travelled to New York to be mixed by the Grammy Award Winning Mixer, Michael Brauer.
Already gaining international attention, including the support of the influential American radio station KEXP, Mono Town recently performed at the inaugural All Tomorrow’s Parties in Iceland, sharing a line-up which included Nick Cave & The Fall. The band most recently performed at Iceland Airwaves Festival & joined The Pixies as a special guest on a number of European dates to a great reception. Plans for a stellar 2014 are underway - starting on January 27th when their album 'In The Eye Of The Storm' will be uniquely launched internationally on Deezer.
