Dolce Vita

Dolce Vita is an Italian DJ duo made up of two well-known electronic music personalities, Alessandro Addea aka Addal, originally from Milan, and Federico Mercuri, from the duo Merk & Kremont and the group Itaca. In 2021, the new duo updated in EDM style an old classic of Italian song, the famous "Nel blu dipinto di blu (Volare) " created in 1958 by Domenico Modugno. Two years later, the duo transformed another song from the Italian repertoire, "O surdato 'nnammurato", performed by Massimo Ranieri in 1972, into a piece of electronic music. In 2025, their version of "Nel blu dipinto di blu (Volare)" was chosen for the soundtrack to the series La Dolce Villa, and met with international success via listening platforms, reaching 14th place in the Dance & Electronic Songs charts and 4th place in the World Digital Songs Sales charts in the USA.
