Ellen Winter is a singer-songwriter and musical theatre composer with an unmistakably distinctive voice - both literally and figuratively. After spending her post-college years self-releasing music and working as a music director in New York’s downtown theatre scene, she found herself planted at the helm of a brand new show, albeit one with an original and untested format: the Broadway-caliber audio-only podcast musical.
The result, 36 Questions, was a critical hit and a cult classic - propelling millions of listeners towards Ellen’s deeply-felt, yet eccentric, style of songwriting and irreverent wit. Three years later, she teamed up with her frequent collaborator and Chamber Band frontman Chris Littler and LA-based producer Charles Wanless on her debut album - a mix of new songs and old, 2020’s every feeling i’ve ever felt.
