Killer, a Finnish alternative rock group formed in 1999 in Helsinki, consisted of vocalist Siiri Nordin, bassist Timo Huhtala, drummer Teijo Jämsä, and guitarist Tuomas “Tumppi” Norvio. The band’s breakthrough arrived with the 2001 single "Hurricane", followed by "All I Want" in August, which topped local airplay charts and reached number two on the national singles list, propelling their debut album Sickeningly Pretty & Unpleasantly Vain to gold status. In 2003, Killer released Sure You Know How To Drive This Thing, entering the Finnish charts at position seven; the single "Naughty Boy" became the group’s highest‑charting track, topping MTV’s Up North list and receiving extensive radio play that summer. The band performed at Germany’s Rock am Ring in 2004 before announcing an indefinite hiatus in February 2005, citing creative differences. Post‑break, members Timo Huhtala and Teijo Jämsä formed Killer Aspect, while Siiri Nordin collaborated with Kwan and The Rasmus, contributing to several joint projects and production efforts.
