Jean-Laurent discovered music at a young age through the piano and solfeggio. He learnt classical and jazz music until he fell in love with the guitar, which introduced him to rock and then to metal.
He founded the band XPLORE YESTERDAY with whom he made 4 albums, toured Europe and the US. He later joined DAGOBA, one of France’s biggest metal bands. JL played the guitars on DAGOBA’s album "Black Nova," toured Europe and Japan with them and played in some of the biggest metal festivals in the world.
After some time with DAGOBA, Jean-Laurent decided to put metal music on the back burner and experiment with other genres. He returned to the piano and began learning the violin with passion.
