Glauco Lourenço, Brazilian singer and composer, is releasing his third album - CANÇÕES EM CHINÊS - "SONGS IN CHINESE" - (2023) - which, like his previous two, Abalo Sísmico (2007) and Bebe Chuva (2011), features all the songs composed by the artist. All the lyrics on the new album were written by also singer and songwriter Suely Mesquita. Glauco has a remarkable identity, both in his singing and in his compositions. Poetry is the common thread of his 3 albums. His music is dense and deals with philosophical, social, political, personal, interpersonal issues, loss, loneliness, love, passion, sex, meditation. It is difficult to classify his style, perhaps because his inspiration comes from different musical sources (MPB, jazz, rock, tango, reggae, classical music, samba, blues, soul, R&B, American popular music) and also from other arts.
