Singer, songwriter and cultural Producer
She started her career in 1986 participating in the main music festivals in Recife. She settled in Rio for 15 years where she helped found Rio Maracatu and with this group won the Brazilian music award.
She is mentioned in several books on the trajectory of Brazilian music through the promotion of Maracatu outside its original axis.
She created the Rio party “Arraiá do Bem” that exists for 15 years, where she fostered a cultural exchange involving more than 20 artists from Pernambuco in its first decade of existence. She was a vocal technique teacher for 12 years at 2 major music schools in Rio.
As a singer and songwriter she participates in the soundtrack of several films and documentaries.
It was recorded nationally by several artists and recorded on more than 30 CDs by other artists.
She participates in 5 CDs included in the Brazilian music award. She has been at the SHOW DO BEM for 6 years (every last Sunday of the month in the morning, at Marco Zero), where she has helped more than 300 NGOs in Recife and the Metropolitan Region.
In 2021 he released the documentary “Do Cais ao Terço” - The sambas by Bráulio de Castro with testimonies of great bulwarks of Brazilian samba and released the EP of the same name, with the 5 songs that illustrate the film recorded in Rio, São Paulo and Recife, local completion.
