Born Johnson Elike Kondobrey, Mega EJ is a Ghanaian artist with a discography of songs spanning from R&B/Soul, Afrobeats, and Rap/Hip-Hop. He is from the Volta region of Ghana, West Africa. He loves to sing with a soft groove infusing light traces of his native tongue known as ‘Ewe’ in his melodies with influence from his community. Mega EJ describes his sound as "Afro-Feels": a hybrid of pure African tones and emotional color melodies.
In the past year, Mega EJ has been on an afro-fusion experimental journey, fusing different moods and melodies with his native sounds. Mega crafted his first solo EP ‘Blood and Daisies’ in 2021 and released it on the 11th of February 2022. He released “Raw”, “Good Vibrations” and “Rest” before the main release date of the EP. Mega EJ has a powerful collaborative nature with producers achieving impactful and innovative sounds. One major contributor to Mega EJ’s sound is Nektunez, a multi-genre music/record producer who is a genius at crafting sounds that fit perfectly with the vibe of the artist he works with. He released a joint Mixtape with Tripcy, also from Ghana in (2020).
