Composer, pianist, producer Alessandro Sgobbio keeps expanding his personal vocabulary of compositions, improvisations and spiritual explorations throughout music. Performing internationally as a soloist, duo and also with his band Silent Fires, Alessandro Sgobbio has issued numerous recordings as a leader/co-leader and has been nominated for the best new talent of the year at the Italian 2022 TopJazz Polls. With his releases “Forests” (2019), “Transparence” (2021) and “Piano Music” (2022), Sgobbio has received several awards and nominations for the best album of the year on Jazzism, Musica Jazz Magazine, Europe Jazz Network and other international press outlets. “I find such an extremely powerful experience to sit on piano, close my eyes and start playing a song dedication.
