Le Parasite is quite a patient beatmaker : his 1st solo album My Mind Travels Far gathers 15 years of a demanding production work. From his early experiments with Astralworx to his recent joints and remixes, Le Parasite’s music could be aligned with the ones of an early RJD2, EL-P or label Ninja Tune. Amongst French and international indie MCs he collaborated with are Vast Aire from Cannibal Ox, Grems, Iris, Arm from Psykick Lyrikah, Le Sept, The Moliqule or beatboxer Shen Roc. Recognized by Wax Tailor as an activist of the French abstract Hip-Hop scene, his name eventually came out in the underground through his remixes of such artists as Aesop Rock, Mr Lif and Antipop Consortium.
