poesia e música
poetry and music
Arthur Nogueira (Belém, 1988) sees music as a platform for sharing great literary works with audiences in Brazil and around the world.
Born in Pará, in the Amazon region, he has been praised as “the contemporary artist responsible for renewing the tradition of poets in Brazilian music”. Nogueira has released six albums and has set to music poems by major authors such as Antonio Cicero (Brazil), Adonis (Syria), and Adília Lopes (Portugal).
His songs have been recorded by some of Brazil’s most celebrated singers, including Gal Costa (“Sem Medo Nem Esperança”) and Fafá de Belém (“Consegui”).
