Jerak, known also as Giannis Gerakakis, was born in Drama, Greece. He always loved electronic music and his main passion was more into House music.
Jerak at the age of 14 got in touch with the decks for his first time ever. Music production plays important role in his carrier, as he achieved to release productions to Waldliebe Famielien(Romania) and created many remixes and bootlegs.
He has been resident DJ in one of the finest summer clubs of Crete and also in Greece “Mylos Club”. Mylos Club has presented remarkable events with guest Djs such as: Mark Knight, David Morales, Louie Vega, Deep Dish, Danny Tenaglia, Junior Sanchez, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Noir and many more.
Also, he has been performing in various other well known venues in Greece and Spain such as the world-renowned Bora Bora Ibiza, Villa Mercedes, La Scala Beach, Jungle Beat Club, Soho Club, Almyra Beach Bar, Honey Bar, Bloque Warehouse etc.
Jerak is mastermind behind the weekly ”Hardbeat Sessions” a groovy radio show that is currently broadcasted on many radio stations in Greece.
He has received support from worldwide artists like Nicola Fasano, Detlef, Pax, Latmun, Cj Jeff, Willy Monfert etc.
