Brazilian Terminator of Ecelctropop
Looking at the glammed-up, purple-haired Eros of now, you can never tell that the electro-pop singer was once a sad, retracted, closeted, low self-esteemed boy. Although through his music, you definitely get a glimpse of it. Inspired by 80s synths and revolutionary acts such as Charli XCX, Troye Sivan and Lady Gaga, the experimental singer captivates with his unique sound. Through deep, all-telling, honest lyrics; daring futuristic production and a hypnotizing voice, Eros manages to pour his heart out completely. Bringing up his insecurities, self-acceptance struggles and relationship issues, he carries you on a journey through his feelings with intriguing electro synth pop tunes.
It is with entirely self-written songs that Eros guides the listener in his life odyssey. A sad, wild, weird and exciting ride. There is something about his deeply revealing, descriptive and poetic lyrics that makes it so relatable, in a way that transports you into his queer, eerie, chaotic world, which once in, you won't want to leave.
Growing up gay in a conservative family in Curitiba, Brazil, Eros always felt misplaced. Due to his lack of connection with the world around him, at the age of 12, he turned to music as a way to cope with and try to understand his feelings and life.
The young promising singer connects to his audience through his relatable life story, especially to the members of the LGBTQ+ community, and by encouraging empowerment in authenticity, uniqueness and love toward all.
