Daniel Sanches, professionally known as Cesar Sanches, is a highly talented music producer, singer, songwriter and artist originally from Cape Verde, specifically Santa Cruz Santiago Island. With a specialization in traditional Cape Verdean music and a talent for exploring various international styles, Cesar Sanches has established himself as one of the most outstanding artists in the industry.
From a young age, Cesar Sanches demonstrated a deep passion for music, undoubtedly influenced by Gil Semedo and his father, Zentony Nhara, who stood out as one of the best guitarists and vocalists of the 90s. Inspired by his father's musical prowess, César Sanches embarked on a journey to become one of the greatest Cape Verdean artists of his generation.
Growing up in a financially disadvantaged country, Cesar Sanches faced numerous obstacles in pursuing his artistic dreams. However, his exceptional talent and unwavering determination drove him forward. It was at this time that César Sanches discovered the transformative power of music when listening to his favorite artist, Gil Semedo. Influenced by the Cape Verdean musical leader, César began participating in musical competitions called Tudo Mundo Canta, where he consistently demonstrated his abilities by interpreting Gil Semedo's music, often securing first place in the finals.
After his success in competitions, Cesar Sanches decided to follow his own path and express his unique artistic identity. He released his first tracks, "PAKE TXORA" and "EZ CORRI EZ BA FLOU", which quickly became some of the most successful releases of his career. In 2011, Cesar Sanches made the decisive decision to migrate to the United States of America, where he continued to pursue his musical aspirations.
Since then, Cesar Sanches has achieved remarkable milestones in his career. His album "DOR DE AMOR" received a Grammy nomination, solidifying his position as a highly respected artist. Additionally, he released several other successful singles, including "DAN BU AMOR", "PASSADO INVEJOSO", "NKA MRECE", "SI BU MUDA" and "MINHA DAMA".
Currently, Cesar Sanches is working diligently on his next album, which will be released in the near future.
