Geezoh De Genius is an independent brand and self made multi skilled recording and performing musical artist, rapper, song writer and a music producer known as "Geezoh Beats". He started his rap and music career at the backyard of his Mama House in Nyanga East, Cape Town back in 2009 while he was doing standard 7 at School. He started his pen game, writing songs related to Love, Hate, Crime, Street and Life in general inspired by artists like Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Nas, Jr Gong, 50 cent, J Cole, Mawillies, Makhendlas, Spokes H, Zola 7, Kabelo, Driemanskaap, Backyard, NakedMynd,...etc, the list includes the late Brenda Fassie, Lucky Dube, Zahara, Van De Merwe, Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, 2pac and Biggie,...
He first participated at School Cyphers with other hip hop school mates and performed in Top Deck Open Mic Shows amongst well known local artist who play Spaza music, poetry and ghetto hip hop in KTC. His first home studio was built from an old computer using the older versions of Digital Audio Workstations, such as Image-line "Fruity Loops 4", Audacity 1.1.0, Mixcraft 6 and Adobe Audition 3.0. The first official release "The Elevation EP" was published in 2018 and distributed to all the online major music platforms.
