Phara is a rapper originally from Nice. In 2018, he founded his recording studio & label with 4 of his associates. In 2020, Phara released a first EP, which he describes as an energy momentarily seized but with which he is not entirely satisfied artistically speaking. The following year, they released a second EP, a little more accomplished, and with quite diversified sounds ranging from 2-STEP to Bossa Nova, but the direction taken was still not 100% satisfactory for the artist, who decided to return quickly to the studio. Over the course of a year and a half, Phara reworked his artistic direction and technique in depth, returning to the fundamentals of the rap he has always loved, and which is intended to be incisive, without artifice, with a direct, hard-hitting message, following the example of artists who have long been a particular source of inspiration for him, such as Schoolboy Q, Booba, Kendrick Lamar, Alpha Wann and Dinos.
At the same time, his travels to Paris have multiplied, as have the creative encounters he's made there.
As a result, in early 2023, he released "MILLIONNAIRE", a new single heralding the release of a new project, which turned out to be a total change of atmosphere, both musically and visually. He then launched the "NV" series, a set of freestyles available only on Instagram, and released a second single and video, "FIVER", at the dawn of 2024. Phara's new project is scheduled for release in early March.
