Evan Cooper is a 14-year-old singer songwriter from Fredericton, NB. Influenced by mainstream pop and alternative folk, Evan has been writing songs since he was 9 years old. He grew up performing for his family, school, and at local open mics, and he has been a featured musician at the ChessPiece Café in Fredericton, NB. Evan was a top performer at the 2024 NB Talent Competition in Saint Andrews, NB; he performed at the Pre-stampede show in Truro, NS, and he made his debut at the Harvest Music Festival this fall. Evan’s first single was released to all streaming platforms on October 18th, 2024. “Don’t Come Crying Back to Me” is a witty and upbeat breakup song predicting the “I told you so” moments when an ex realizes the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
