Circadia is an electronic pop-rock duo hailing from Ravenna, Ohio consisting of husband and wife singer-songwriters Nathan and Alyssa James. The duo writes and performs positive and uplifting original music that focuses on timely themes.
Circadia has recently released their latest single, "Run Wild", a cover of the Of King and Country Song of the same name. Circadia's version has passed over 40,000 plays on Spotify, quickly becoming the group's most popular song to date and featuring Moriah Jane, a Mezzo-soprano with the Cleveland Chamber Choir. They also released a music video for “Run Wild”, which was the first single since the release of their debut album Seeking Completion.
Nathan James formed Circadia, at first as a solo project, at the beginning of 2018, with the goal of using indie-pop to spread a positive message. He entered the studio in June of 2018 to begin work on Circadia's first album, with the debut single “Deepest Longing” releasing in June 0f 2019, followed by the single “Closer Again” in July and the debut album “Seeking Completion” in November of 2019. Nathan put together a 5 piece live band that began performing all throughout 2020.
Circadia is endorsed by The Friendly Cup, a company that produces Eco-friendly, biodegradable cups. Their music has been played on 89.3/103.5 WBFJ in Winston-Salem, NC. Their sophomore album, Built From Heartache, is due out in early 2023 and will feature 13 songs total.
