Formed in 2011, Haárps has carved a unique path through the alternative music landscape. With a sound that has evolved from its early bass/wave/synthpop/witch house roots, the band now embraces darker lyrical themes and incorporates elements of metal into their music, while still retaining their signature synthpop vocal melodies and lush, melancholic harmonies.
Haárps has an impressive resume, having recorded at the renowned Greenhouse Studios (Björk, Ben Frost), collaborated with artists like CROSSPARTY, and shared the stage with notable acts such as Ic3peak, Summer of Haze, and oOoOO. Their 2014 full-length album "Spiritual Ties" released on STYLSS (USA Portland) garnered critical acclaim, and they have since released a number of EPs and contributed to various compilations worldwide.
Now Haárps is preparing to embark on a new chapter with their forthcoming single "Overdose," a collaboration with electronic producer Skaen set for release on April 5th.
