The Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne, a French choir based in Switzerland, was founded in 1961 by Michel Corboz. Initially led by Corboz, the ensemble has been directed by Pierre-Fabien Roubaty and Daniel Reuss. The group consists of young professionals with additional high-level choristers as needed, allowing them to cover a wide repertoire from early Baroque to the 20th century. Their discography includes over fifty recordings released on labels such as Erato, Cascavelle, Aria Music, and Mirare and covering works of Monteverdi, Vivaldi, and Bach. The ensemble has received several distinctions, including the Choc du Monde de la Musique in 1999 for Mozart's Requiem, and the Choc de l’année 2007 for Fauré’s Requiem. They have performed internationally, participating in festivals such as Rheingau and La Chaise-Dieu.
