C-Red is a rapper and songwriter from Tallahassee, Florida who currently resides in the greater Houston, Texas area. She started rapping in middle school, most heavily influenced by Nas’ Illmatic, and has continued to work on her craft throughout her academic and professional life. Her path as an artist and creative has been different than most of her counterparts, as she has always pursued education and music with the same dedication and passion. She is currently a fourth-year medical student who recently matched to urology residency, and released an EP the next day after. She started #WhiteCoatWednesdays, posting verses on her Instagram profile every week, to give a glimpse into her commitment to her grind as an artist and as a creative. C-Red hopes to inspire listeners to never box themselves in, be afraid to exercise both sides of their brains, or unlock their full potential.
