J.O. Bio #2
James Wright, the 3rd of 6 children was born and raised in Ypsilanti, MI. With a family inspired by love & determination, James knew anything he did in his life; his family would be by his side. Musically inclined with a lot of book smarts mixed with street knowledge, James started his music career in church and he sang in the choir and played the drums in middle school.
Following the steps of his oldest brother, music would be the biggest part of life. During the mid-90s to early 2000’s, James moved to Ann Arbor for a better education due to violence and temptations float around in Ypsilanti.
Ann Arbor showed James that opportunity is everywhere and one should never pass it up. James attended Pioneer High School and Graduated in 2002 with the potential to make a successful future out of his life. Attending school kept James out of the streets….somewhat. But after a few years he linked up with a few people such as his best friend who brought him into the music industry.
James is trying to work a 9-5 but really not feeling punching a clock after a few years passed and working a straight and narrow, James realized that music is what he wanted to do in life. While James was trying to figure out life, he noticed his two older Brothers were doing what he wanted to do until this day after years pass and a need to feed now, James has been chasing his dream doing whatever it takes to make something happen for him and his family.
Now living back in Ypsilanti as a grown man, music is the motivation for James Wright which saved him from falling into the trap of the street life. Look for him on the big screen real soon.8
