The band Mama’s Blues Joint, was formed by the singer/songwriter Lene Strøyer in 2002.
She won The Danish Blues Name of the Year 2010 Award.
Lene Strøyer is the songwriter and the producer in the band, while each musician brings their unique perspective to the songs.
Mama's Blues Joint plays Rhythm and blues with a touch of soul, funk, rock, and country.
Lene Strøyer is an extraordinary singer with a deep feeling for the blues. She has released Mama's Blues Joints 4 CDs on her record label Mamas Records, and she has received much recognition in many countries for her original compositions. Several tracks have won awards at international songwriting contests.
The band has played at venues and festivals at home and abroad and consists of experienced and well-known musicians from the Danish music scene.
