Piotr Wyleżoł, born on December 6, 1976, in Knurów, Poland, is a pianist and composer known for his work in modern jazz. He began his musical career as a child prodigy, performing with the Rybnik Philharmonic Orchestra at age ten. After graduating from a music-focused high school in 1995, Wyleżoł studied jazz at the Katowice Academy of Music under Wojciech Niedziela until 2000. He released his debut album with his own trio in 2001, receiving positive reviews in Jazz Forum. Subsequent albums include Children's Episodes (2009) and Human Things (2018). Wyleżoł has collaborated with notable musicians such as Gary Bartz, Billy Hart, and Nigel Kennedy. He has won several competitions, including the Jazz Juniors in Krakow and the International Jazz Improvisation Competition in Katowice. In 2007, he began teaching at the Kraków Academy of Music.
