Patricia Maria Rozario, a British soprano born in Bombay, India, in 1960, began her musical journey with initial training in her native city before relocating to London. She studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her career took off with performances at prestigious venues such as the English National Opera, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, and Garsington Opera. Rozario's international acclaim grew through roles across Europe, notably in The Marriage of Figaro, conducted by Sir Georg Solti. She has also performed in major concert halls including the Royal Opera House and as part of the Proms. She has also made numerous recordings of John Tavener's works. In 2001, she was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE). Rozario has also been a professor at the Royal College of Music and Trinity Laban, where she contributed to the Vocal Faculty.
