Salvador Aponte is a Mexican singer-songwriter and composer from Monterrey, N.L., with an international career that has taken him to perform on stages across various cities in Mexico, as well as in the United States, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Colombia. Throughout his journey, he has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Carlos Rivera, Armando Manzanero, Raúl Ornelas, Carlos Cuevas, and Carlos Carreira, among others.
As a songwriter, he has collaborated on songs with artists like Raúl Ornelas, Carlos Carreira, and Edgar Oceransky. His exceptional talent has earned him the 2024 SESAC LATINA Songwriter of the Year Award, along with Latin Grammy nominations in 2024 and 2016. He is also the recipient of a BMI Award, two Éxito SACM Awards, and 11 SESAC Awards. His impact on the Regional Mexican music scene is evident, with five of his compositions reaching #1 on the Billboard Regional Mexican chart.
