Sinnamon was a United States–based female R&B vocal trio formed in 1982, comprising Barbara Fowler, Marsha Carter, and Melissa Bell, who hailed from Connecticut and New York City. The group first gained attention with the single "Thanks To You", released in 1982, which reached Number 1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart for two weeks and peaked at number 44 on the Billboard R&B chart. In the following years Sinnamon released a series of singles, including "He’s Gonna Take You Home (To His House)" (1982), "I Need You Now" (1983), "Thin Line" (1984), "Send It C.O.D." (1987), and "Always There (Always In My Life)" (1990). Their 1992 single "I Like The Way (You Make Me Feel)" continued their dance-floor presence, while a later release paired "Thanks To You" with "So Different" on a reissue single. In 2013, a Moplen Edit of "I Need You Now" appeared, extending the group’s legacy. Sinnamon’s catalog reflects a consistent contribution to disco, soul, and dance music.
