Ashley Ballard, born on June 9, 1985, in Mission Viejo, California, is an American singer known for her work in contemporary R&B and soul music. Her career launched with the release of her debut single "Hottie" in January 2001, which charted at number 25 on the US Billboard charts. Ballard's debut album Get in the Booth followed in May 2001, though it was not commercially released on physical CD format. Throughout the 2000s, she made notable television appearances and toured with The Radio Disney Tour. Her music was featured on various compilations and soundtracks, including Rock N Sole by Atlantic Records and the Pokémon: The First Movie soundtrack.
