Matt Miller is no stranger to electronic music. At just three years old, he ended up in Philadelphia's foster care system, separated from his three siblings. To cope with the challenges of being a foster child, Matt Miller turned to music and sports. When he was 13, he began producing his own music, having learned from a friend whose dad had instruments for him to practice on. From then on, Matt Miller taught himself how to use different electronic sounds, leading to a successful career as a DJ and producer.
Matt Miller produces music from a multitude of genres. From trance and dance music to hip-hop and pop, he always knows how to keep things fresh.
“I want to entertain people and utilize my creativity to connect people and bring them together,” he said. “I want my music to speak to every language and culture.”
Drawing inspiration from the likes of David Guetta, Daft Punk, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren and other powerhouses, Matt Miller is able to create a mixture of different genres and combine them to create an incredibly distinct style.
Matt Miller’s next move? Perform at music festivals, but only to watch people dance and have fun to the beat of his music.
“I want my music to evoke emotion and be open to interpretation. I want my music to raise people’s heart rates.”
