The Product G&B, an American contemporary R&B and soul duo from New York, comprised David McRae and Marvin Moore‑Hough; born in 1998, they met at thirteen and formed the group under the name Ghetto & Blues. Their breakthrough came when Wyclef Jean signed them to Sony Music, and they released the single "Cluck Cluck" in 2001, which was featured on the soundtrack to Dr. Dolittle 2; the same year they issued their debut album Ghetto & Blues through J Records, a release that also marked Wyclef Jean’s label debut. In 2002 the duo followed up with the single "Dirty Dancin′", which reached Number 13 on the US Dance Charts, and later collaborated with Carlos Santana on the worldwide hit "Maria Maria", a track that peaked at Number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and topped charts in the United States, Germany and Switzerland. Subsequent releases included the 2007 single "Slam More Harder!" with Onyx, the 2008 feature on 50 Cent’s "Tired of Being Broke", and the 2014 EP Summer Nights in Brazil with DJ Mr. Da‑Nos, which entered the iTunes Album Charts at Number 1 and earned an MTV EMA nomination. The duo continued touring Europe into the mid‑2010s, released further singles in 2015, and maintained a collaborative presence with artists such as Prince Kay One and Carlos Santana, while each member pursued solo projects under the names Money Harm and Sincere Gubano.
