Sofie Winterson found her artistic voice combining her folk roots with electronic music. This led her to making dreamlike indie pop, by press also referred to as kitsch pop or art pop and sometimes compared to artists such as Beach House or The XX. She kicked off her career with the song Your Eyes, which was featured in a world wide Braun campaign in 2013. In 2014 she followed up with a first single entitled 'Said and Done', which was accompanied by a music video directed by artist duo Pinar & Viola. The same year she presented her live show at SXSW and Eurosonic/Noorderslag. Her second single River was released in May 2014 with a video by photography-film duo Petrovsky & Ramone and found support among many blogs world wide.
She created her truly impressive debut album 'Wires' together with bandmembers Lyckle de Jong (Keys), Rutger van Woudenberg (guitar), Illan Voshol (drums) and producer Rimer London; due to be released on Magnetron Music the 3rd of October 2014.
