CRC, also known as Monsieur La Pluie, is a Belgian rapper and composer from Brussels. He stands out for his ability to fuse different musical genres, notably rap, French chanson, R&B and Afro touches. He began his musical career as a producer with the group NUPS3E, which he shared with Alpha and Godson, before gradually evolving towards rap. In June 2023, CRC launched his first solo project, La Pluie (Acte I), under the aegis of the J&A collective and the Brussels-based label Labrique, known for supporting artists such as Swing, Primero and Shaka Shams. This project, inspired by his personal experiences and his Brussels environment, marks the start of his solo career. In 2024, he continued his musical exploration with the EP Pleurez! (Act II), in collaboration with musicians ATRN and Bellard. This opus features an innovative fusion of melodic rap and Afro influences, offering an intense emotional experience. His style is characterized by melancholy poetry, precise storytelling and singular musicality, making him one of the new faces of Belgian rap.
