Lyri is a female lyricist hailing from Alexandria, Virginia. Her ethnicity is African American and Native American. Music was all around her from an early age. When Lyri went off to college, she decided to give music her all and fully commit to her music career. Since then, she’s wowed people all throughout the East Coast through performances and features, as well as releasing her own material on all platforms. Lyri represents women that are strong enough to do their own thing no matter what anyone says or thinks. Lyri chose to brand the hashtag #BeenBetter not only to assert herself in a male dominated industry, but to give women that work in male dominated industries a voice. She chose to make this lane her own to show people that women can do what men can do, and even better.
