Seefa is a flower in bloom. Born in Maryland and raised across Nigeria, Kenya, England, and France, her singular sound is imbued with the disparate places she calls home. Her music is perhaps best described as ‘cosmopolitan pop’, seamlessly blending alté and afrobeats motifs with alternative rock, hip-hop, and pop elements.
The singer and rapper began releasing music on her SoundCloud as a teenager, teaching herself how to write, produce, and mix music in her bedroom. As a classically trained flutist and self-taught pianist, she developed a rare ear for evocative melodies, with a powerful pen to match.
Seefa’s genre-defying music is representative of her carefree personality and diverse musical taste — drawing inspiration from artists such as Queen, Amaarae, ROSALÍA, and Cruel Santino.
