Bonded by Blood was an American thrash metal band from Pomona, California, formed in 2005. Vocalist Jose Barrales founded the group with guitarists Alex Lee and Juan Juarez, bassist Ruben Dominguez, and drummer Carlos Regalado. In 2006, the band won a battle of the bands competition and used the prize money to record the demo Four Pints of Blood. The group self-released the EP Extinguish the Weak in 2007, which featured a cover of the “Theme from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”. The band signed with Earache Records in 2007 and released the debut album Feed the Beast in 2008. During the supporting tour, Jerry Garcia replaced Dominguez on bass. The group released the second album, Exiled to Earth, in 2010. Following the departure of Barrales and Lee, Bonded by Blood released the third album, The Aftermath, in 2012. The band became inactive in 2012 but resumed activity in 2021.
