Giannis Venizelos is a guitarist, a composer and a producer from Athens, Greece. He started guitar lessons at the age of ten and he completed his studies in the class of Nikos Manitaras (Athena conservatory) receiving the diploma of classical guitar in 2004. He holds the degrees of advanced courses of music theory (harmony, counterpoint, fugue technique) from the National conservatory of Greece and he obtained the diploma of composition from the Orfeion conservatory of Athens. He has also attended lessons of jazz electric guitar, jazz harmony and accordion.
He has been teaching guitar and advanced music theory in several conservatories and music schools of Athens since 2002. Songs and orchestral works of him have been presented in the tv and radio stations of Greece, in Megaron – Athens concert hall and many music halls of Greece.
Giannis Venizelos composed the music and made the production of his first album “Kalosorisma” that was released in 2012. He was a founder member of the bands Masif (CD “Masif” 2014) and 2Dive (Single “Dive” 2019). His composition for two guitars “5 tales from the cave” received remarkable reviews and uploaded from Siccas guitars youtube channel in 2020.
He has been a member of various bands as a guitarist and songwriter and he participated in many performances all around Greece and abroad.
