Miguel loved singing from young but his family didn’t know of his hidden talent until he won a school singing competition in 2010, when he was just 10 years old, with his rendition of “I Dreamed A Dream” from the musical ‘Les Miserables’. In 2011, Miguel participated in the cross-continental talent search by award-winning music producer and songwriter David Foster, and emerged the winner of ‘Born To Sing Asia’. Thereafter, Miguel was selected by David Foster to perform at the ‘David Foster & Friends’ concert in Singapore. In 2014, Miguel signed on with BMBX Entertainment in his first step towards fulfilling his dream of becoming a prolific singing artiste, an inspiration that is very much influenced by his all-time favourite legendary icon – Michael Jackson.
