Pomm Fritz, a German band from Upper Swabia, was formed in 1982 and known for their songs in the Swabian dialect. Their debut album Schwäbisch: Lektion 1 was released in 1992, followed by Aus em wilda Süda in 1993. The band's popularity grew significantly, with over 150,000 records sold and more than 1,000 live concerts performed across southern Germany. Their single "Mir im Süda" notably became a regional anthem and was adopted as the official hymn for VfB Stuttgart in 2013 following a public vote by Radio7 listeners.
