Break

Real name Charlie Bierman, Break is a British drum'n'bass DJ and producer based in Bristol. Active since the early 2000s, he released a debut single entitled "Cocktail" for Eastside Records in 2003, before founding Symmetry Recordings in 2006, under which his albums Symmetry (2008), Resistance (2010), Simpler Times (2015), 10 Years of Symmetry (2016), Another Way (2018) and Digital World (2023) were released. In the space of twenty years, he has released a dozen EPs characteristic of his deep bass and powerful percussion style. Break has collaborated with numerous artists, including Calibre, Calyx & Teebee, DJ Die, Spectrasoul, Xtrah and Boston. He formed the duo Degrees of Freedom with Isha Campbell aka Kyo, who produced the EPs Without You (2016) and Excuses (2019). After the album Digital World, from which one of his best-known tracks "Wait for You" is taken, the EP The Eastside was released at the end of 2023.
