Thrones (_thrones also works) is the moniker of artist/producer/engineer Stephen Aubrey. In his 20+ years learning, training and making music; he has set his main focus to producing electronic music of many styles. Born/raised and damaged (half joking) in Jersey, he bounced between Jersey and Philly; having very little family. He let his love for the streets, music and the arts raise him. Never making it far in school and struggling hard with poverty and criminality, whilst being severely affected by rampant classism and lack of a stable home environment; he preferred to spend his time alone. writing literature and song lyrics while teaching himself any and every instrument and piece of recording gear to make his own music. He always had groups of friends but he saw them as distractions if they weren't making music with him. Although he never planned on making the music industry his career; fate would see him uproot his entire life in his early 20's, ending up in Nashville, TN (Music City.) Though it was mainly country music this city was known for, Stephen insisted that electronic music was going to sweep the industry and influence all genres within a decade or so. And so far he wasn't wrong. As I write this, the electronic scene in Nashville is on the up and up, and continuing to please crowds! So keep your ears peeled. Like his peers, Thrones and his eclectic sound isn't going anywhere anytime soon!
