Marie-Hélène Dauphin, known professionally as Marie Dauphin, was born on April 20, 1964, in France. She is a singer and actress who initially pursued a career as an acrobat at the Fratellini circus school before transitioning to music following an injury. Dauphin's breakthrough came in 1983 when she was recruited by Jacqueline Joubert to join the team of animators for the children's television program Récré A2. She quickly gained recognition for her work on various TV show themes, including "Bibifoc", which remained in the Top 50 for nine months and sold 800,000 copies.
